My name is Sarah Jackson and I am the designer behind Jackson Fabric Arts. After many years of browsing and buying in fabric stores, I decided to try my
hand at creating my own. Jackson Fabric Arts is the result.
I
began by experimenting by creating fabric using low water immersion techniques, and have
branched out into contemporary batik, shibori, sunprinting, and hand
painted fabrics. You can read about the processes I use on my blog Mad About Fabrics.
I offer my fabric in yards, half yards and fat quarters. Whenever feasible, I create swatches that I also sell in my online fabric store. Swatches are a great way to try out my fabric. You'll be able to see firsthand the vibrant color and feel the texture of the quality cottons I use in my processes.
I create my hand dyed fabrics
using fiber reactive dyes and 100 percent cotton. I dye my fabrics in
small batches to retain color uniformity and to control quality.
I also create unique linen textiles for your home. Currently, I hand dye linen napkins and tea towels. I will be introducing more linen products in the near future.
Thanks for browsing. Please note that I welcome custom order. If you see a pattern you like and don't see it in a colorway you need, please contact me about a custom order.
